Miley Cyrus is Super Rich, But Her Journey Has Not Been Easy. Here is a Short Recap of Her Amazing Career

Nobody could’ve predicted that Miley Cyrus would grow up to become a profound name in the music industry since she had started off as a star on the Disney Channel show Hannah Montana which had a very kid-friendly appeal.

However, as that show concluded, so did Miley’s preference of making content for kids, and she quickly stepped into making news for being provocative, something that she probably did to effectively tell the world that she was ready for a mass appeal.

Although Miley’s music gained her a lot of attention as even her fans, who had grown up with her, loved the way she sang, she still had a confusing image for many who still viewed her as Hannah Montana.

But over the years, Miley’s music has been targeted towards an adult audience, and now she is famous around the world as a singer who is not afraid of breaking barriers. This popularity has naturally allowed her to amass a massive fortune as well.

Miley’s Journey Over The Years

Many people do not know this, but Hannah Montana was not the first time Miley had stepped into the world of entertainment. Back in the year 2001, Miley had landed a role to play the character of Kylie on the TV show Doc, which also starred her celebrity father, Billy Ray Cyrus. She then starred in a small role on Big Fish, a film that released in 2003, playing the character Young Ruthie.

Miley was only 11 years of age when she was selected to play Hannah Montana, even though producers had been a bit reluctant to cast her since she was so young. However, she was obviously very talented even at that age, both as a singer as well as a dancer, and hence they decided to move ahead with her.

Hannah Montana Time

Hannah Montana proved to be a very successful show with a global appeal and concluded after its fourth season. But the end of the show did not have any impact on the brand called Hannah Montana, which continued to sell merchandise and music. Miley had also become synonymous with the character and went on to perform as Hannah Montana for years.

A concert film had also been made and released for Hannah Montana, which proved to be very successful as well.

According to reported figures, Miley ended up making a lot of money from every episode she made for the show, a figure that has been estimated at around $15K. This obviously made her very rich at the very start of her career.

But then, she started taking her music career more seriously, and that’s when her highest-selling music album to date was released as part of a two-disc compendium that also included Hannah Montana music on one disc.

Although Miley has tried her luck with a few film projects as well, she has made the most of her $160 million fortune from music. She is still making music, so we can expect that this net worth would only increase in the future as well.
